Auditorium - L'Aquila

The new auditorium in L�Aquila was designed by Shigeru Ban and donated to the city by the Japanese government , it was made and erected in its complexity of forms and finished by Edil Steel srl.

Opened in May 2011, in the presence of the ambassador of Japan in Italy, Hiroyasu Ando, the hotel is a symbol of solidarity and friendship between Italy and Japan.

The structure of the auditorium, designed by renowned Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, is 12 meters high covering an area of 702 square meters, and the extraordinary ellipsoidal shaped room can accommodate inside 220 seats.
